This piece resembles Venezuela’s culture by portraying its most famous food, the arepas which decorate the background. On top, a Venezuelan woman wearing the typical Joropo gown represents Venezuelan clothing, dance, rhythm and traditions. Usually, the dresses for this dance are orange, but I decided to change the design to add the flags colors. This painting becomes the embodiment of Venezuela’s culture and my love and passion for all it represents.
