Since I left my country, I never felt quite right. There was something about my reality that I didn’t like and it wasn’t because of the country, or the new culture and people. It was me, all along. I used to focus on the person that I was before leaving, the friends and things that I had left behind. I thought part of me was always going to be missing because of that. But, today I can acknowledge that no matter where I am, I am and have everything that I need. Our minds are so powerful and we don’t even know it. Once I realized that there is no such thing as going back to who you were, but loving and nurturing yourself into evolution my power as an artist and as a person came back, it gave me my confidence back.
