Installation The hanging shoes represent death and drugs as a harsh critique towards the Venezuelan government who through corruption have become the large drug cartels of the country. The mirror on the corner and shoes functions as the point from where the audience sees the shoes on their own. This has the intention of driving the audience to put themselves in “Venezuelan shoes”, hopefully encouraging the audience to spread the word on Venezuela’s situation.
